UPDATE: Bayonne’s Grandpa’s Kitchen Is Gone

PIZZA SNOB RATING ***1/2 Working on a Good Thing    

Whenever back in Bayonne, the Pizza Snob takes a drive along Broadway to check the status of the local pizza provider community. What did I notice on my last visit? Well, it looks like the third time for this location wasn’t a charm, and that Grandpa’s Kitchen is now closed.

Previously the home of Mario’s Pizza and Lorenzo’s Pizza & Pasta, the Broadway site is shuttered again with yet another sign advertising rental space that includes pizza equipment.

Sorry to see this one go. The latest owner seemed like a great guy, and he made a good pie. But, like I’ve said before, there’s a lot of places making fantastic pizza in Bayonne.
